I had the fantastic fortune to celebrate my birthday at Thinkers50 Weekend at the magnificent Guild Hall in London.
A giant thank you and congratulations to Des Dearlove and Stuart Crainer for curating a remarkable two days of meetings. They brought together esteemed minds from around the globe to delve into ideas to shape the future of human leadership in a tech-driven, chaotic world. I left with bolder thinking for the great opportunities ahead as we tap into our humanity to push toward the good in the coming era of AI.
Now for the fun part—we all got gussied up for the grand finale Gala (sometimes dubbed the“Oscars of Management Thinking” ).
I’m thrilled that many of my revered 100 Coaches colleagues were nominated and won top honors. Marshall Goldsmith, our 100 Coaches north star and the godfather of Executive Coaching, was a gracious, generous leader, as always. Over lunch, he led a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” to me, which made me blush and smile ear to aging ear.
